Environmentally friendly measures implemented at our factories were as follows:

Bora’s Core Values guide us to achieving exceptional Environmental, Health and Safety performance.
At Bora, we are committed to protecting the health, safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the communities where we operate. We strive to be industry leaders in environmental stewardship and workplace safety by maintaining a comprehensive EHS management system across all operations.

Our commitment to EHS excellence is based on the following principles:

  • Compliance: We commit to meeting or exceeding all applicable environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations, as well as our own EHS standards.
  • Employee Engagement: We actively engage our employees to foster a proactive and collaborative EHS culture. Through continuous communication and involvement, we empower our employees to take ownership of health, safety, and environmental practices, recognizing that EHS responsibilities are shared across all levels of the organization.
  • Environment Stewardship: We are dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact by adopting sustainable practices and continuously improving our environmental performance.
Health and Wellness: We are committed to promoting the physical and mental well-being of our employees.
  • Incident Investigation and Prevention: We investigate all incidents thoroughly and without delay. Root cause analyses guide our corrective and preventative actions, ensuring lessons are learned and applied to prevent recurrence.
  • Leadership and Accountability: Our leadership team is dedicated to the principles outlined in this EHS Policy, fostering a culture of accountability and visible leadership. We provide oversight, direction, and the necessary resources to ensure EHS responsibilities are clearly owned and effectively managed at every level of the organization.
  • Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement: We establish measurable EHS performance goals and initiatives, communicating transparently with our stakeholders about our progress and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Prevention: We prioritize the prevention of occupational illness and injury through a comprehensive EHS management system, where risk assessments, hazard identifications, and mitigation measures are integral to our operations.
  • Training, Knowledge, and Resources: We ensure that all personnel have the training, skills, and resources necessary to perform their work safely and fulfill their EHS responsibilities effectively.

This policy is established by the Sustainable Development Executive Office on November 13, 2024, approved by the Sustainable Development Committee, and implemented upon approval by the Board of Directors.
