Supply Chain Management

Management Approach

Bora Pharmaceuticals is dedicated to establishing a stable and sustainable supply chain to achieve its sustainable development goals. By developing alternative material sources, promoting supplier diversification, and enhancing supply chain management capabilities, the company strengthens supply chain resilience. Supplier selection emphasizes quality system certifications (such as GMP, ISO 9001), on-site audit results, and official third-party audit records. Additionally, the company ensures that key raw materials are both interchangeable and competitive, mitigating supply risks and enhancing collaboration efficiency.

Supplier Management Approach

Bora Pharmaceuticals is committed to the sustainable development of its supply chain, ensuring stable raw material supply while achieving sustainability goals. For critical raw materials or services, the company adopts a diversification strategy by establishing at least two interchangeable and competitive suppliers to mitigate risks and reduce costs.

Supplier Selection Criteria Include:

  • Quality system certifications (such as GMP, GLP, GDP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025).
  • On-site audit results and third-party inspection records.
  • Annual quality reviews, regular document re-evaluations, and on-site audits.

Additionally, the company conducts comprehensive assessments of suppliers’ process capabilities, product quality, on-time delivery performance, and collaboration levels through supplier self-assessment questionnaires, paper-based reviews, and on-site audits. Continuous efforts are made to enhance communication and collaboration, fostering the creation of high-quality products and sustainable value.

New Supplier Management

Bora Pharmaceuticals’ new supplier evaluation process consists of seven stages to ensure that suppliers’ products and services meet the company’s standards. First, the supplier scope is determined, followed by requesting samples for testing and evaluation. Subsequently, questionnaires are sent to gather additional information, and document reviews and on-site visits are conducted. Finally, qualified suppliers are added to the approved supplier list, ensuring the stability and quality of the collaborative supply chain.

Supply Chain Review Methods

Bora Group implements a multi-level review process for suppliers to ensure that partners possess stable supply capabilities and product quality. The review methods include the following:

A. Basic Review and Quotation

  1. Based on the procurement amount, suppliers are required to provide quotes from at least two to three vendors. Designated suppliers must submit a justification and obtain supervisor approval.
  2. For special items such as fixed asset procurement or patented products, project-specific reviews may be conducted as needed.

B. Supplier Basic Information and Document Review

  1. Verify the accuracy of the supplier’s basic information and registration details, ensuring payment terms and contract contents meet company requirements.
  2. Request suppliers to provide Certificates of Analysis (COA), technical data, and quality questionnaires to assess whether their products meet the company’s needs.

C. Sample Testing and Evaluation

Conduct testing and performance evaluations of supplier-provided samples to ensure their products meet company standards and demonstrate stable technical capabilities.

D. Formal Evaluation and Audit

  1. Conduct a comprehensive review of suppliers following internal quality management procedures, including document reviews and on-site inspections if necessary.
  2. Assess supplier performance in quality management, product performance, supply stability, and delivery punctuality.

E. Qualified Supplier Management

  1. Suppliers that pass the review are added to the approved supplier list and undergo regular quality reviews and document reassessments.
  2. Ensure the stability of long-term collaboration quality and further enhance supply chain resilience.

By adhering to consistent review standards, Bora Group effectively ensures supply chain stability and high quality, fostering sustainable collaboration based on fair competition.
