Bora Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (“Bora” or “the Company,” TWSE: 6472; OTCQX: BORAY) today announced it has been recognized with dual honors from HR Asia, the region’s leading human resources publication: “the Best Companies to Work for” and the Company’s first HR Asia “Sustainable Workplace” awards. Together, these honors affirm Bora’s belief that a thriving workplace is built on people, and that caring for its people is closely tied to building a sustainable business.
Out of 330 companies assessed this year, only 79 earned recognitions. Bora Group stood out for the culture of belonging it has nurtured across its global operations. As of the end of 2025, female leaders held 46.14% of middle and senior management roles across the Group, a reflection of the meaningful voice female talent carries in leadership and key decisions. Working across borders and cultures, Bora continues to live out The Bora Way and its core value of “Respect Everyone,” creating space for collaboration, cultural understanding, and genuine respect among its global teams.
The HR Asia assessment draws on an anonymous employee survey measuring workplace experience across three dimensions, corporate culture and engagement (core), employee well-being (self), and teamwork and shared action (group). Bora scored above the market average in all three, a signal that its people feel seen, supported, and connected to one another.
That sense of recognition is something Bora Group works to cultivate every day. For five consecutive years, the Bora STAR Awards have invited employees to celebrate the colleagues who bring the Company’s values to life. And in 2026, the program grew into a global recognition initiative. Through peer nominations, teammates nominate those who lead by example. To date, more than 20 employees across Taiwan and North America have been honored, with each year’s recipients invited on company-sponsored visits to overseas offices, an exchange of people and perspectives that gives Bora an international culture all its own.
Bora’s care for its people extends to how it protects them. This year, the Company completed a global Human Rights Due Diligence assessment to systematically identify workplace and human rights risks across its operations as it works to align Group-wide human rights practices with international standards. Bora also introduced paid volunteer leave, encouraging employees to give back to their communities, an invitation met with heartfelt participation. Through volunteer service and time spent with patient communities, employees have discovered a deeper sense of purpose in every role across the Company.
Alice Wang, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer, and Ellen Chen, Head of HR, TW Operations, accepted the awards on the Company’s behalf. They shared, “As a global pharmaceutical company, we believe our people are the driving force behind everything we achieve. Through thoughtful, comprehensive support, Bora is committed to building a sustainable workplace, one where every employee can grow, realize their aspirations, and flourish alongside the Company’s vision.”
