In response to the recent severe typhoon damage in Guangfu Township, Hualien County, Bora Pharmaceuticals (TWSE: 6472, “Bora”) has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by mobilizing employees to support a relief fundraising campaign initiated by Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare. Within just a few days, the internal donation drive garnered an enthusiastic response, with 13% of employees participating and raising a total of NT$500,000.

Upholding its long-standing belief in giving back to society alongside its employees, Bora pledged to implement a 1:1 matching donation program, contributing an equal amount to the funds raised by employees. Today, Bora officially donated a total of NT$ 1,000,000 to the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s designated account for the “0923 Hualien Mataian Creek Landslide Disaster Relief Project,” in support of local post-disaster reconstruction and emergency relief efforts.

As a pharmaceutical company rooted in Taiwan with a global presence, Bora is committed not only to improving patient health worldwide but also to supporting the Taiwanese community during times of crisis. The company actively responds to major disasters and quickly allocates resources when needed. Moving forward, Bora will continue to take concrete action to amplify its positive impact and collaborate with society in building a more resilient future.
